Statista - new database in the Library

Statista is one of the first statistic portals in the world to integrate data on over 80.000 topics from over 18.000 sources onto a single professional platform. Categorized into 21 market sectors, Statista provides companies, business customers, research institutions, and the academic community with direct access to quantitative data on media, business, finance, politics, and a wide variety of other areas of interest or markets. The database is available from the University's LAN.

MarketLine - new database in the Library

Profiling all major companies, industries and geographies, MarketLine is one of the most prolific publishers of business information today. It contains over 30,000 companies, 3,500 industry profiles and over 110 country profiles. You can also access all of the case studies, over 50,000 financial deals reports along with over 60,000 news articles. The database is available from the University's LAN.

Happy Norwegians - OECD Better Life Index 2016

oecd better life indexLife satisfaction is generally highest in Norway, Australia and Denmark, according to the 2016 results of OECD Better Life Index. This Index allows you to compare well-being across countries, based on 11 topics the OECD has identified as essential, in the areas of material living conditions and quality of life. With this online interactive tool you can see how countries perform according to the importance you give to each of 11 topics that make for a better life.
