The Economic History Research Library is situated on the 3rd floor of the Library. It preserves the atmosphere, the original furniture, the antique objects and especially the old collection of its predecessors, of which the most important is the collection of the Library of the Budapest Chamber of Commerce and Industry. This special collection amounts to around 2000 old and rare books published between 1488 and 1900.
