Computers

There are two computer labs on the 1st floor of the library with 32-32 workstations. The computers - all with Internet access- support a wide variety of software applications maintained by the IT Srvice Centre of the university. General computer applications include word processing, e-mail, web browsers, presentation software, spreadsheets and statistical packages. A variety of computer-assisted instructional programs is also available. There are several workstations in the reading rooms as well.

Computers are available to registered users only, on a first-come first-served basis. User ID and password can be acquired from library staff at registration.
 

The library provides wireless access throughout the building for laptops.The The necessary login identification code and permission for the VPN service is to be acquired from the university IT Service Centre.
How to use VPN

Photocopying, printing, scanning

Photocopying is available in the dedicated Copy Rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floors. On the 3rd floor there is a self-service coin operated copy machine. On the 2nd floor staff-operated copying, printing and scanning services are available during opening hours in the Economics Reading Room. Observing copyright regulations is the responsibility of the user. To make photocopies of a thesis, PhD thesis, students' scientific paper or a whole book is strictly forbidden!
